A small corner of the internet, just for you
Some people search their whole lives for what I found in you. This page is a tiny attempt to say what I feel every single day.
— with all my love, Sashank
A letter I'll never finish writing
Funny how the most important person in my life began as a stranger on the internet. One message turned into a conversation, and that conversation somehow never ended. Soon you were the first thing I'd reach for every morning and the last name on my screen every night — every single day, without fail.
I still remember our first call, the nervous excitement of finally hearing your voice, hours disappearing like minutes. And then Diwali — the day the screen finally gave way to the real you. Of all the lights that day, none of them came close to you.
I used to be someone who was happiest on his own, who guarded his space and called it peace. Then you walked in and quietly rearranged everything. You didn't change who I am — you showed me who I could be. The man who once loved being alone now can't imagine a single day without you in it.
So here's my promise: to keep choosing you, the way I have since that very first message. I can't wait to stand beside you and call you mine forever — though honestly, my heart made that promise a long time ago.
Forever yours, Sashank
Moments I never want to forget
An incomplete list
For being so strong, even when you're scared — you face the things that frighten you and never let them win.
For always being there for me — through the good days and the hard ones, you never once let go of my hand.
For loving me in a way no one ever has — fully, patiently, without conditions or limits.
For wanting me the way you do — making me feel desired, missed, and chosen like never before.
For turning a stranger from the internet into my whole world — and making it feel inevitable.
...and about ten thousand more reasons I'll keep telling you in person, for the rest of my life.
Until the month I get to call you my wife
the exact day is still ours to choose — but it's this October, and that's a promise
